Right now India’s male grooming market is growing exponentially and is pegged at over Rs.5000 crore. The group has expertise, team and infrastructure to give the competitor a run for their money. At present Hipster’s product portfolio includes beard wash, bear oil, growth oil and moustache growth oil – all enriched with essential oils and nature’s best ingredients helpful in facial hair growth and rejuvenation.
The client approached us to launch Hipster in Gujarat. They had done good research before entering the market and had a clear vision of how they wanted to position their brand in the market; grooming products that help men power up their grooming game with a panache. The client wanted to create an image for the brand that’s as rebel as its name. Men’s wardrobe essential that grooms masculinity with a hint of gentleness, which helps men groom their mane and up their style quotient.
Due to the promising growth of the male grooming industry, the market has seen many new entrants off late. We had to differentiate Hipster with its verbal, non-verbal and visual brand language. We have been involved in the project right from conceptualizing and designing logo to packaging, brochure, merchandise and other brand communication. Before beginning any work, we thoroughly researched about the product and market. We developed the brand identity based on combined insights of our and client’s research. As hip as its name, the logo and packaging of Hipster help the brand appeal to its core target audience.
